Discover practical and creative ways to raise test scores and achievement in our students using the things we know about how students learn. We know so much more now than we did even ten years ago. In this workshop teachers will practice memory skills, use games to review skills and learn how we can make a difference in how well our students learn.
Included in this workshop will be mind mapping, review tools, brain gym activities, test taking strategies for students, and ways to change students' states to improve learning. Elaine will also share ways to differentiate instruction.

• For those wanting graduate credit, Chapman University forms will be available at the workshop for 1 graduate non degree seeking credit per 5 hour workshop with an additional 15 hour practicum. About the TrainerElaine Haven has been presenting workshops for over ten years across the United States and all of her workshops are brain based. She won the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math in 1998 and she is the author of 9 teacher activity books.
Elaine has been trained in brain based learning by Eric Jensen and Rich Allen and in this workshop she shares strategies and activities that will help raise student test scores.
