Description of the Workshop

Literature circles are a great way to teach skills included in each state's standards in English. Add a host of motivating literature based activities to your literature circles. Elaine will share web sites, recommended books and ways to use technology in your literature circles.

Whether using fiction or non-fiction, literature circles can help students to delve deeper into a book and enjoy it more. Included in this workshop will be ideas for mind mapping, literacy weaving, and choice activities.
