Description of the Workshop

In this creative hands-on reading/language arts workshop, Rhonda will have you making reading/language arts games, puppets and learning tools to add spice to your reading lessons. Play some of the reading games and bring them right back to your classroom to use the next day. These activities and games are great to use in centers, in whole group or small group sessions.

Included in this fun workshop will be a literacy make and take targeted especially for teachers of Pre-K to second grade. Be the teacher with a host of new ideas and activities to share back at school. Rhonda always has a kaleidoscope of creative things to share with teachers. She is also known for her colorful and exciting bulletin boards so bring a camera.

• Certificates showing 5 hours of professional development will be given to all participants.
• For those wanting graduate credit, Chapman University forms will be available at the workshop for 1 graduate non degree seeking credit per 5 hour workshop with an additional 15 hour practicum. The registration fee is $179 per person.
Group Discount: For groups of 3 or more attending the same workshop from the same school, the registration fee is $169 per person.

Trainer About the Trainer

Rhonda Sponcil, an experienced presenter, knows how to plan a teacher workshop with many new and colorful ideas and activities. All of her workshops are make and take and teachers love the hands-on activities. She has over 27 years of classroom experience and most of those years were in the primary grades.

Rhonda is in high demand for her workshops across the United States and many teachers call to ask when her next workshop will be. Teachers leave her workshop excited and wanting to add her ideas, games and activities to what they are already doing in reading. What a fun filled, worthwhile day!
