In this seminar you will enjoy learning 5 minute science activities that require little preparation, how to connect children's literature to the science we teach, and how to integrate science into other areas of the curriculum. Christine will have you making books using science topics, and you will make a science game to use right away in your classroom.
Christine has taught the primary grades and knows how to teach very young students. She will show you how to use science to reinforce the very important process skills of recalling, communicating, observing, inferring, analyzing, classifying, summarizing, and gathering and interpreting data.
Christine's seminar integrates phonics into the science lesson in a creative way. Primary teachers love Christine's seminars because they are hands on and fun.

For those wanting graduate credit, Chapman University forms will be available at the workshop for 1 graduate non degree seeking credit per 5 hour workshop with an additional 15 hour practicum.
