Description of the Workshop

Discover practical and creative ways to build a stronger literacy foundation in students K through 3rd grade using what we know about how students learn and literacy centers. This workshop is packed full of ideas, materials, and activities to make centers that can be used to differentiate instruction, especially while you are working with small groups.

You will return to your classroom with an arsenal of ideas and teaching strategies for centers. This workshop includes a literacy center make and take, hands-on activities and games.

For those wanting graduate credit, Chapman University forms will be available at the workshop for 1 graduate non degree seeking credit per 5 hour workshop with an additional 15 hour practicum. The registration fee is $189 per person.
Group Discount: For groups of 3-4 attending the same workshop from the same school, the registration fee is $179 per person. For groups of 5 or more, the registration fee is $169 per person.
